Bishop Oyedepo should be stoned by Wale Ojo - Lanre
Honestly, many things are wrong with some of us in Nigeria
For probably because life is smooth and easily enjoyable, we always indulge in or poke our noses into matters that we should steer clear off.
The Facebook and social platforms have enabled and turned us to busybodies who pontificate and make us judges in matter which we should be less concerned
And even when the issue at hand demands action from us ,we only make or bark like a toothless bulldog
Imagine how some of us have been talking and being judgemental in the case of Pastor or Bishop David Oyedepo and his 42 pastors who he employed unilaterally and who he sacked without taking any permission from us
And Imagine us too just making noise and raising hell on social media platforms without being bold to take action against the man of God who relieved his employees of the burden he put on their heads
Honestly, I see some of us as cowards, stupid, lazy and jelly liver. If not, we should have gathered ourselves, stormed Ota and stoned Bishop Oyedepo dead for adjusting or re-arranging his property.
Yes ! Bishop Oyedepo deserves to be stoned for doing what he thought would be good for his Church
Bishop Oyedepo should be stoned because he has relieved those Pastors of his Church who he believed are indolent and inefficient!
He should be stoned if he refused to allow us forced upon him employees who he thinks their pace of doing things is not measuring up to his expectation
Bishop Oyedepo should be stoned for sacking those workers in his vineyard of God who he thinks cannot comprehend his vision, mission and goal of planting the Church
And who is that foolish man who will try to stone a man who has the right to sack who he deems fit and unable to service and target his goals.?
I Wale Ojo - Lanre will not join you to do such a criminal act because Bishop Oyedepo has the right to hire and fire his staff by the letter of the appointment he signed with them
if you are still aggrieved with his act kindly employ the 42 pastors which have just been kicked out of the job.
Good morning.
I am in Usi Ekiti ,come and beat me
I think Baba Oyedepo is a God fearing man for doing the right thing. If you can't go with his vision and mission, then resign g,ahead and set yours otherwise you'll get fired kudos Bishop
ReplyDeleteIs Pastoring A Divine Call To Serve Or An Earthly Career?
ReplyDeleteHave you ever read of a church placing an advertisement in the newspapers seeking the services of pastors and evangelists? What would first strike you upon coming across such an occurrence? The very idea raises some serious questions on whether it is a spiritual or mundane matter. One wonders what could have prompted a church to invite for employment a total stranger to handle its pastoral affairs. Has pastoral calling now become like any other career, where one can simply submit his CV for employment? Should men of God be called or hired? Is it at all Biblical and what does the development portend for the church of God?
Mr Man, there was no advert for the employment of just anybody. The call was to those who know they have received the call to ministry. But, perhaps, because there are so many unemployed in our society, many (who did not receive any call from God) saw it as an opportunity to be employed.
DeleteMoney was spent on Church tentage/building, salary paid for some months, yet, the one who claimed he received the call from God to go into ministry to win souls, has not won any. Tell me, if it were you , would you continue to keep such an employee in your employ and keep spending on him, when there is no proof that he received the call?
