Bamidele Salami : An Unfit member of House of Representatives?

Image
Bamidele Salami: An Unfit member of the House of Rep? One of the disadvantages of democracy is the fact that it gives access to every Dick, Tom and Harry to partake in the affairs of men and if smart enough becomes a representative of the people! Democracy can be likened to a Molue, that notorious Lagos mass conveying vehicle that welcomes both thieves, rouges, decent, rough, rugged, lazy and serious-minded people as far as you can pay and enter. Even sophisticated democracy and representative government do not hanker after genuine competence but majorly on the popular approval and support of the masses via the ballot box and a simple majority vote to win. The type of democracy we embraced in Nigeria if played holistically would have thrown up our best of best and planted them squarely where they will be useful to all and serve the people But alas, we have injected into the process, encumbrances where the best of our best always find it hard to contest and even if contested may be den

Ojo John Olusola : Ekiti people are shameless? I don't know why God almighty created this particular group of people and planted them on one of the most fertile geographical portions of the universe. I do not know. I don't know why on Earth it is these people from one corner of Nigeria, a landlocked environment that God almighty allowed to inherit lack of shame, greed and persistently insatiable as characters when it comes to this issue which always set them apart from the maddening crowd. They are a terrible set of the human stock who are of special behavioural patterns and whose texture of their skin is also unique and different from others It is not even their men alone that are terrible, their women too are of the same stock as men save that their women are blessed with beautiful faces - Check Prof (Mrs ) Modupe Adelabu They are not after money or being extensively rich They are not ever greedy for worldly riches They are mentally strong and vibrant They are consis

Why I would have stoned Jesus Christ to death ?

Image
I would have joined them to beat Jesus Christ to a pulp! Honestly, I would have stoned Jesus! That is the the bitter truth. God just saved Jesus Christ from my stone Had it been I was alive when he commenced the restoration ministry of His, which has set many free from the bondage of evil and thereby relieved them of the yoke placed on the people by the laws of old . The laws made by dead men to control the living. A regimented series of laws I would have gleefully joined the men in high places to cast stone on Jesus Christ, the son of my mother virgin Mary for waking up to his divine calling by condemning and attacking in public those rules which were deliberately set to keep the masses in perpetual political bondage and religious slavery. Why would I not join them to stone the ordinary son of Joseph, that carpenter who I must have hired to repair my broken door and whose son is having the gut at telling us that what we were doing was not only bad but ungodly? I would have joi

‌Kayode Ajulo:What manner of a lawyer is this? Where is the Nigerian Bar Association? Or which legal profession organ or association can deal with this bizarre act of this lawyer, Kayode Ajulo, Esq who has a thriving law office in Maitama, Abuja? I think they say Law is a noble profession that entails being, compassionate, decent, fit and proper both in conduct, deeds and acts And I think practitioners of such a noble profession should strive to be above board, act promptly when called to be unique and extremely outstanding in whatever they do. I think the law profession must have a benchmark of excellence for its practitioners and officers both inside the court and outside the bar. I think there should be measures and rules to punish or reward any practitioners who might have acted ultra vires or, above or beyond the set principles of the law profession I also think there should be a rewarding system for whoever has added value to the profession in terms of outstanding acts, deeds

Buhari should Arrest Ooni ,Iyalaje Oodua now !

Buhari should arrest Ooni, Iyalaje Oodua now! Yes! I affirm this headline with the sincerity of my heart and energy within me. That nobody is above the law is a global principle that checkmates the excesses of both the mighty and the tiers etat of any nation And this must apply to this case in hand without preferential treatment that one is a royal father or a locust being hawker. The law should be applied to whoever has done what ought not to have been done or what not to have been done in excess, no matter the status of the human being. Nigerian law should not give road to sentimentality There should be no respect for Ngbati. Ngbati nor bow to kedu koodu either must it has room for Soka na lafia! Bi a se Beru la bi omo (At equity everyone should count ) For me, I don't like to raise noise or my voice against frivolities except there is the need for it. And the Nigeria Constitution has guaranteed each one of us the fundamental freedom to speak and pour out our minds freely
